Former Boston Bruin Jake DeBrusk was interviewed on the Cam and Strick podcast about his situation in Boston.

Of course, he mentioned how much he loved the Boston area during the interview.

But during the interview, he felt it was time for him to get a fresh start, after the team was re-tooled and he felt he was fighting for his career, after getting scratched in the playoffs.

Jake Debrusk requested a trade two separate times during his time with Boston. Check out this clip from the

He mentioned how he had requested a trade twice, and once in the summer and his former Bruins comrades had his back and understood his situation.

He had nothing against the Bruins organization he said during the interview, as he had hoped to put his best effort into his play before getting traded, so the team could get a respectable return as well.

But as no trades materialized, as he asked for one during Jim Montgomery's tenure as well, as Bruce Cassidy's his time came to an end in Boston on July 1st.

He would sign with the Vancouver Canucks, and sign a seven year, $5.5 Million AAV deal with GM Patrik Allvin as the Canucks load up on talent.
