A new big development has just been made regarding the Boston Bruins making a trade soon due to continued offensive struggles.

It's no secret that the Boston Bruins have not been themselves to start off the 2024-25 season, and Don Sweeney has realized that.

Sweeney has revealed that he is looking to make some moves to help the Bruins as they hold a record of 8-7-2 in their first 17 games. The Bruins are not use to this as they have been one of the top teams over the past couple of years.

One of the bigger reasons to this is due to them only averaging 2.53 goals per game which ranks them 25th in the entire league.

Boston Bruins insider Jimmy Murphy just revealed that the Boston Bruins are looking to make changes to help out their offensive struggles. Murphy has revealed that the Bruins are looking to add a top-six forward.

"It's no secret that he wants a scoring winger for the top-6, but don't be surprised if he snags another top-6 center. Are we talking about a legit No. 1 center? Probably not because those are hard to find on the trade market, but maybe a 1B like they already have in (Elias) Lindholm.»

In the Boston Bruins last eight games they have been shut out twice, and have only scored 16 goals. The only player on the Bruins roster on pace to put up a point per game as of right now is David Pastrnak who is just under a point per game right now with 16 points in 17 games.

There is no doubt that there needs to be change in the Bruins organization whether it be Jim Montgomery or the Bruins making a big addition up front to help out with their offensive struggles.
