A video just exposed how terrible Matthew Poitras is at golf
We can rest assured that a few Boston Bruins players won't ever end up on the PGA tour. As video of their antics on the golf course has gone viral on the internet.
The clip featured rookies Matthew Poitras, and Mason Lohrei on the golf course in a clip which would put even Happy Gilmore to shame.
The two rookies are filming outside of the putting green, and all Poitras has to do is make an light chip to get back into competition on the green.
Instead, he channels his inner Happy Gilmore( note, not the calm, cool, collected one who beat Shooter McGavin) and chipped a significant amount of dirt from underneath the ball.
At this point they shouldn't quite their day jobs.
They're assuredly Bruins for as long as they can handle the job, but will they ever be golfers?
Doubtful!
But when I see this clip I can see Poitras is "just like me" as I would've made a shot similar to that.
In a way, that isn't a competent shot whatsoever, but it was good for a ton of laughs, as I can't stop laughing at how bad he is at this.
Aren't hockey players programmed to be good golfers anyways?
I guess not, as Matthew Poitras is currently the 3rd line center of the Boston Bruins, and has played 3 games for the Bruins, and posted 2 points( 1 G, 1 A).
Mason Lohrei is currently a top-pairing defenseman, with Charlie McAvoy, and has played 4 games for the Bruins, scoring 4 points( 1 G, 3 A) in that time frame.
