With the NHL trade deadline just being two days away now, the Boston Bruins have completed a four player roster transaction in preparation for a trade.
The Bruins have already started off their retool on Tuesday when they ended up trading Trent Frederic to the Edmonton Oilers.
In return they got a 21-year-old defenseman in Max Wanner, a 2025 second-round pick and a 2026 fourth-round pick for Trent Frederic and Max Jones.

Today, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced that the Boston Bruins have recalled Ian Mitchell, Riley Tufte, Vinny Lettieri, and Patrick Brown.

The Boston Bruins themselves did confirm that all these players were called up, stating Vinni Lettieri was recalled on an emergency basis, and that Georgii Merkulov and Jeffrey Viel was sent back to Providence.
The team has recalled forwards Patrick Brown and Riley Tufte and defenseman Ian Mitchell from Providence; recalled forward Vinni Lettieri from Providence on an emergency basis; assigned forwards Georgii Merkulov and Jeffrey Viel to Providence.
