Joe Sacco already revealed that Jeremy Swayman is set to guard the crease for the Boston Bruins today as they take on the Vegas Golden Knights in their final game before the two week NHL break.
Now head coach Joe Sacco revealed that another roster move will take place before puck drop.
In the middle of December, the Boston Bruins claimed Oliver Wahlstrom off of waivers from the New York Islanders. Since coming over he has been a healthy scratch for the Bruins a lot as he hasn't really fit in.
The Bruins made Wahlstrom a heatlhy scratch once again last game against the New York Rangers, but according to a report, he will be drawing back into the lineup for the Bruins tonight.
Joe Sacco makes a last minute roster move involving Oliver Wahlstrom
Just moments before puck drop, interim head coach Joe Sacco revealed that Oliver Wahlstrom will be back in the Boston Bruins lineup tonight against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Sacco also stated that it's unclear at this moment who will be coming out, and that it would be a last minute decision.
Wahlstrom since being claimed off of waivers has just 1 goal, and 1 assist with the Boston Bruins.
In total this season, Wahlstrom has played 41 games and has 3 goals, 3 assists for 6 points on the year while being a minus-5 and only having 24 shots this year.
