Boston Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo left the game late in the third period after a scary incident happened.

The Boston Bruins have been dealing with a lot of injury problems this season, and they may be facing another one after defenseman Brandon Carlo went down the tunnel to the locker room.

After trailing the game 1-0 entering the third, the Boston Bruins came out flying, and Morgan Geekie ended up scoring the game tying goal just 25 seconds into the final frame.

Just over five minutes later Geekie would go on to score another goal for the Bruins to take the lead.

After the Bruins ended up taking the lead, the Colorado Avalanche started to buzz around in the Bruins zone.

Nathan MacKinnon set up Cale Makar for a one-timer that ended up breaking his stick, and bounced to an Avalanche forward who shot the puck from an awkward angle, missing the net and hitting Carlo in the face.
