The Boston Bruins could find a way to retool the bottom six, which has yet to provide the depth scoring needed as of late, one player they could call on is Jake Evans, a Hab.

GM Don Sweeney could find a way to retool the Bruins bottom-six, but he'd have to swallow his pride and call on a rival team, the Montreal Canadiens.
One of those players who is drawing interest is Jake Evans, a fourth-line center for the Montreal Canadiens.
This season in 57 games with the Canadiens, he's scored 27 points (11 G, 16 A) on a Canadiens team that is still rebuilding.
He's had three seasons where he's contributed 27 points or more and could prove to be a better forward for the Bruins, thanJohn Beecher.
Beecher was a godsend for the Bruins last season, and like the rest of the squad has fallen flat productionwise.
This season in 56 games for the Bruins he's only tallied 9 points (3 G, 6 A) and hasn't been as impactful as we want him to be.

The Cost of Jake Evans

If we pursue Jake Evans, GM Don Sweeney will have to undoubtedly look into the Bruins' pile of assets and see what he can afford to part with.
What will it cost to bring Evans into the fold, enough to satisfy the demands of GM Kent Hughes?

So, it depends on whether the Bruins want an up-and-coming bottom-six forward who has proven himself in a supporting role with the Habs.
If I was GM I'd consider swapping him for a future 2nd-round pick.
