Brad Marchand Doesn't Hold Back As He Reveals What He Wants From The Boston Bruins Organization

This season has been all over the place for Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand, and he did not hold back when revealing what he wanted from the organization moving forward.
In just his first year of being the captain of the organization, he has struggled to bring consistency to the team, and because of this they are sitting outside of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Bruins have been a horrible road team this year, as they just have a record of 9-15-3, and are about to miss the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time since 2016!
But Marchand was a key member of Team Canada's 4 Nations team. Marchand, being the type of player he is, helped Team Canada beat Team USA during the finals, in his place he calls home, at TD Garden.
The 36-year-old is set to be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year, and now the Bruins are heading into a rebuild, and you wonder what is going to happen with him.
He has yet to re-sign, is he going to? Will he leave during the off-season? Is he going to call it a career?
Brad Marchand Reveals What His Future Looks Like
Well we got some answers today as Brad Marchand spoke on the rumors about his future.
«I've always planned on playing here (Boston) my entire career,» Marchand said earlier today. «That hasn't changed. They're aware of that. I think everyone's aware of that. It's a gift to be playing for this team and I take a tremendous amount of pride in it. So yeah, that's always been a goal.»
Following this, the captain was asked how he felt about General Manager Don Sweeney's comments revealing the team will not be aggressive at the NHL trade deadline this year.
"Even in your best years, guys get moved or things happen," Marchand said of the deadline. "You have no control over things like that and you really can't get caught up worrying about it.
"The team is always going to do what they feel is best for the group."

Hopefully for the Boston Bruins, they are able to sign Brad Marchand to a contract extension soon.
