The Boston Bruins are looking to start being more consistent when they take on the Colorado Avalanche today at TD Garden.
Boston is coming off of one of their biggest wins, and most complete games after shutting out the Ottawa Senators on Thursday. With the win, the Bruins jumped back into a playoff spot and are now sitting in the first wildcard spot in the East.
Jeremy Swayman ended up missing the Bruins game on Thursday due to an upper-body injury, and interim head coach Joe Sacco told reporters that he could be an option for their game today.
Sacco also stated that Cole Koepke could be an option today after being sidelined since January 14th with an upper-body injury.
The Bruins will be without two big named players in Charlie McAvoy, and Hampus Lindholm who both remain out due to injuries.
Colorado on the other hand may have a different looking lineup after they just traded Mikko Rantanen to the Carolina Hurricanes as part of a three-team blockbuster trade.
The Avalanche in return got Martin Necas, and Jack Drury with some picks, and are expected to dress today for the game against the Bruins.
The Bruins and Avalanche are set to play at 1 p.m. ET.
