Sirott will move from 98.5 The Sports Hub into the Bruins broadcasting booth, joining Andy Brickley.

Sirott is excited to join Brickley and the NESN team, recalling fromer NESN announcer Fred Cusick's call of a Bobby Orr's Stanley Cup winning goal as news of his hiring hits NHL wires everywhere.

"This job is unrivaled around the National Hockey League: an Original Six team, in a spectacular hockey market, in one of the premier cities in the country," Sirott said in a statement provided by NESN. "It's my honor to be NESN's new play-by-play announcer for the Boston Bruins."

He is thankful for the opportunity to call Bruins games on the radio and has a laundry list of those to thank including his predecessor Jack Edwards, The Jacobs Family, Mike Emrick, and Cam Neely are just some he's been happy to work with and will continue to do so.

Welcome your new voice of Bruins, Judd Sirott.
