The Boston Bruins have shocked fans after making another roster transaction today involving a fan favourite.

The Boston Bruins earlier this morning made a surprising roster move by sending Marc McLaughlin back down to the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League after just recalling him yesterday.

Now the Bruins have completed another roster transaction that has shocked fans by calling up a fan favourite they have wanted to see for some time now!

The Bruins just confirmed that fan favourite Fabian Lysell has officially been recalled from the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League.

The #NHLBruins have called up Fabian Lysell per organization email.

It's unsure where he will be playing in the Boston Bruins lineup today, or if he will at all, but it seems like the Boston Bruins are finally ready to give him a shot in the NHL with the big squad.

Fabian Lysell has been tearing it up in the American Hockey League with the Providence Bruins, according to hockeydb.com Lysell has five goals, 17 assists for 22 points in 26 games played this year.

Fans have been calling for the Bruins to give Lysell a shot in the NHL for awhile now and it looks like we will finally get to see him make his NHL debut.

If things go good for Lysell he could possibly earn a full-time roster spot with the Bruins who are still looking for someone to replace Jake DeBrusk after losing him in free agency this off-season.
