The NHL Player Safety just announced that Aaron Ekblad will be suspended for 20 games without pay for violating the terms of using performance enhancing substances.
Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad has been suspended for 20 games, without pay, for violating the terms of the NHL/NHLPA Performance Enhancing Substances Program.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the suspension is accompanied by mandatory referral to the NHL/NHLPA Program for Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health for evaluation and possible treatment.

The National Hockey League will have no further comment on this matter.
The NHL has suspended #FlaPanthers Aaron Ekblad 20 games, without pay, for violating the terms of the league'a performance enhancing substance program.
The Florida Panthers have 18 games remaining on the season making it so that Ekblad will miss the remainder of the regular season, and a couple of games in the playoffs.
