Elias Lindholm may have gotten more than he bargained for in Boston. Of course, he will get to play for a legitimate contender and an original-six franchise.

The allure of those two truths is always a selling point for many players who decide to sign here during the off-season.

Boston ranks as one of the most congested cities

A recent study by the INRIX 2023 Global Traffic Scorecard concluded that Boston ranks as the fourth-highest city for traffic delays in the United States, according to Boston.com. The study also found that the capital of Massachusetts ranks eighth highest in the world for congestion on the roads.

Lindholm was the latest to succumb, in hopes of holding a Stanley Cup with the spoked-B on his chest, as he wouldn't find success in Calgary or Vancouver unfortunately.

But what does he dislike the most about Boston?

Well, the traffic.

Boston traffic is ranked fourth-highest in the United States for traffic delays, so even a superstar will feel the pain of that fact.

While Boston does have the MBTA, there's a fairly robust public transportation system, but not quite like they have in Canada or Sweden.

Nevertheless, growing pains in a new city.
