Good pro is third on team in points with 5-6-11 in 15 games

The 33-year-old veteran was playing with the Providence Bruins on a professional tryout contract (PTO) for the first 15 games of the season, and he is currently tied for second on the team with goals, third in points on the team, and tied for first on the team in plus-minus.

Tyler Pitlick currently has 5 goals, 11 points and is a plus-5 on the year and also has 22 penalty minutes for the Providence Bruins.

There was a lot of rumours earlier in the year that the Bruins whether it be Providence or the Boston Bruins, were going to give him an actual contract after being signed to a PTO, and now the team has made it official on Wednesday.

The Minnesota native has played 420 career games in the NHL with multiple different organizations including the Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers, Arizona Coyotes, Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, and New York Rangers.

During his 420 games in the NHL he was more of a depth player then anything, and had 56 career goals, along with 53 career assists for 109 career points.

Tyler Pitlick was originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the second round with the 31st overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Level Draft.
