Former Boston Bruins forward Tyler Bertuzzi is trending after mocking a Maple Leafs fan during his return to Toronto.
Ex-Toronto Maple Leafs players Tyler Bertuzzi and TJ Brodie made their first return to Toronto on Monday, and an interesting situation occurred during their thank you video.
Both Bertuzzi and Brodie got a short 'Thank You' video tribute on the jumbo tron during a commercial break to allow fans to acknowledge their achievements they had during their time with the Maple Leafs organization. Bertuzzi spent only one season with the Maple Leafs after leaving the Boston Bruins, and TJ Brodie played for 4 seasons on the blue line for the Leafs.
A video has been trending regarding Tyler Bertuzzi appearing to laugh off his video tribute. Not only that but it seemed like he was also joking around with his teammates during the video, and looked like he was even waving off any cheers from the Toronto Maple Leafs fans.

There is a reason that he isn't very liked in the NHL and this shows exactly why. No class at all when a team is recognizing him and they didn't have too.
Bertuzzi during his time with the Boston Bruins quickly became a fan favourite after being acquired at the trade deadline during the 2022-23 season, and fans were upset when he ended up leaving, but it may have been the best thing that could have happened.
Bertuzzi is having a decent year with the Chicago Blackhawks with five goals, five assists in 25 games.
