Boston Bruins reportedly close to signing a deal with Jeremy Swayman following report
The gnashing of teeth can stop finally, as it appears the Boston Bruins and Jeremy Swayman may have made progress during contract negotiations.
According to NHL Insider Cam Robinson of Elite Prospects, Swayman and the Bruins are a lot closer to a deal this week.
This could mean, that Swayman and the team could finally be ready to sign soon?
Swayman recently joined Captain's practice at Warrior Ice Arena this week, optimistic that he and the team would get a deal done soon.
This has been the recent clarion call of the Boston Bruins front office, as it is a highly-desired outcome that all fans want to see
Swayman went through arbitration last season and was awarded a $3.475 Million, one-year contract and vowed never to go through it again.
This year, he is looking to get more time and value out of the deal, and Ryan Whitney of Spittin' Chiclet reported the last deal he heard Swayman was offered, was 4X$6.2 Million and felt insulted on his behalf.
