Along with learning that captain Patrice Bergeron didn't make the trip to Florida, Jim Montgomery also announced concerning news regarding Linus Ullmark earlier today.
Go With Sway Anyway?
After letting in five goals on 29 shots in Wednesday's game three loss, the Bruins' goaltender was reportedly absent from team practice on Friday morning.
Although Ullmark did make the trip south, according to Montgomery, he's officially labelled as a game-time decision. As per Conor Ryan:
Montgomery: Ullmark is a ''game-time decision.''
It's been debated amongst Bruins fans since the game two loss whether Boston would go with Ullmark again, or change things up with Jeremy Swayman. Any level of injury should confirm a Swayman start, but you never know!
Surely, Montgomery won't hesitate to go to the 24-year-old, who has been one of the best goalies in the league in 2023. Since January 1st, Swayman holds a 17-3-1 record in 23 games with a 2.03 GAA, a .932 SV% and three shutouts.
