Some Bruins fans have voiced their opinions on Patrick Brown's performance, and it seems they're ready for a change.

Bruins Network shared their opinion,

"Yeah, I've seen enough of Patrick Brown, to be honest. Good defensively and at the dot, but his lack of tempo really doesn't mesh well with the style of hockey Boston plays. Would be better to roll Beecher at 4Csize, speed, and the same defensive prowess, just more upside."

These sentiments were echoed by the Bruins network in a tweet posted on October 2nd, following a game against the Philadelphia Flyers where the Boston Bruins fell 3-1.

Patrick Brown, a free agent signing from the Senators, joined the Boston Bruins on July 1, 2023, with a two-year, $1.6 million contract, making him a member of his fifth NHL team.

On the other hand, Johnny Beecher's journey with the Bruins took a different path. He initially signed an amateur tryout contract with the Providence Bruins, the AHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins, for the latter part of the 2021-22 season.

Beecher contributed with 5 points in the remaining 9 regular-season games and made 2 post-season appearances, tallying 1 point for Providence.

The Bruins officially signed Beecher to a three-year, entry-level deal on May 16, 2022, indicating their faith in his potential. It appears fans are eager to see what Beecher can bring to the table in comparison to Brown's style of play.
