The Boston Bruins have just made a big announcement regarding star goaltender Jeremy Swayman on social media today.
So far this season, the Bruins have not gotten the Jeremy Swayman they originally thought they were going to get after signing him to a massive deal.
The Bruins signed Jeremy Swayman to a contract extension just two days before the regular season started.
It was announced that the Bruins signed Swayman to a eight-year, $8.25 million contract, and so far he has not lived up to it.
Last year Jeremy Swayman stole the starting crease from Linus Ullmark, leading to Ullmark being traded in the off-season.
The Bruins and Senators combined for a trade seeing Ullmark head to the Senators, and the Bruins in return got Joonas Korpisalo, Mark Kastelic, and a 1st round pick.
Korpisalo and Kastelic have been great for the Bruins so far, but Jeremy Swayman has been underwhelming.
