Dom Sweeney emphasizes opportunity for prospects as he won't be blocking them from NHL roster
The Boston Bruins will undergo significant changes in the upcoming season, with several players departing and new faces joining the roster.
While waiting on decisions from Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci, Bruins GM Don Sweeney highlighted the organization's commitment to providing opportunities for their top prospects.
Sweeney stated,
"I don't think we're in business to just block people. I think we're in business to provide opportunity when a player steps forward."
Prospects like Mason Lohrei, Matthew Poitras, and Fabian Lysell are expected to challenge for spots on the team.
Sweeney expressed excitement about the prospects' potential contributions and emphasized their progression and development.
