Don Sweeney demands the NHL to hold referees accountable
Boston Bruins general manager was visibly upset during his press conference today, and didn't hold back when talking about the NHL officials during the playoffs.
Sweeney told reporters that officials should be put in front of a microphone and have to answer questions to be held accountable.
The SHL already does this were referees have to answer questions on why they made some decisions, it might be time for the NHL to make that adjustment as well.
"You want full access and transparency? Then put the officials in front of the microphone to answer the question. They're the only ones that have the experience to be able to handle whatever interpretation they applied to Rule 69."
