According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, there's a growing divide between the Ottawa Senators and Shane Pinto. As the regular season draws near, it raises questions about whether the Senators might trade Pinto.

The Boston Bruins are in dire need of strengthening their center position. They couldn't find suitable replacements for Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci during the offseason.

There were even previous connections between the Bruins and Pinto. Given the recent developments between the Senators and Pinto, it wouldn't be surprising if Boston shows interest.
