Morgan Geekie Reveals His True Colours Towards The Boston Bruins Organization
Following their embarrassing overtime loss to the Anaheim Ducks last night, Boston Bruins forward Morgan Geekie revealed his true colours towards the organization.
The Boston Bruins have been super inconsistent this year, and that has lead them to be involved in a lot of trade rumours.
That, and the fact that they don't have any contracts lined up for their unrestricted forwards.
At the beginning of the year fans were expressing their discontent with Morgan Geekie as he was not good at all.
Mid-way through the year though, Morgan Geekie turned it around and has since been on fire, and many insiders have suggested that the Bruins should extend him and keep him instead of trading him at the NHL trade deadline.
Most of this is due to the chemistry that David Pastrnak has developed with him on his line.
Morgan Geekie Reveals His True Colours
Following their loss to the Ducks last night, Morgan Geekie was asked about how he feels regarding all the trade rumours involving his name.
Geekie answered and said that he wants to remain a Bruin as long as he can, but at the end of the day it's not up to him whether or not he sticks around or not.
Here is what he had to say:
"I want to be a Bruin. I'd love to be a Bruin as long as I can be. It's not up to me, and I'm just going to go out there and play. I love every guy in here, everything about the organization."
After a slow start, Geekie has turned things around scoring 18 goals and 12 assists for 30 points in 53 games with the Boston Bruins this year.
