Elliotte Friedman Reveals More Information Regarding Swayman
In a recent article, Sportsnet NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman talked about talks between the Boston Bruins and goalie Jeremy Swayman.
There was a lot of talk online about what Friedman said, with some thinking a new contract was close. Swayman was asked about it but said his agent would handle it.
Friedman later went on The Jeff Marek Show to explain. He said he just meant that the Bruins and Swayman's team had started talking. He said he didn't mean to say a deal was close.
So, while they're talking about a new contract, it's not happening right away. Swayman's future with the Bruins is still unclear.
