Taylor Hall was supposed to be an offensive threat and a mentor to Connor Bedard for the Chicago Blackhawks. Instead, his first season in Chicago saw him succumb to multiple injuries and miss the majority of the 2023-2024 season.
Amidst the return to the lineup in 2024-2025, the winger has found some bad news waiting for him.
But the Blackhawks have other plans, as DailyFaceOff's Frank Seravalli has mentioned that the Blackhawks could trade Hall later in the season.
The statement from Hall:
This could prove to be good news for the Bruins as they're short on top-six forwards, but will GM Don Sweeney part with any assets to acquire the former Bruins forward?
In 2021-2022, during his time in Boston, he was a 60-point winger(20 G, 41 A), and showed flashes of the Hart Trophy winner he once was in 2019.
Of course, there are some realities that Sweeney has to face, as he has a history of injuries.
The Blackhawks saw Hall play 10 games in 2023-2024, scoring 4 points( 2 G, 2 A), and he'd love to stick around a rebuilding team.
Hall has played 9 games this season and scored 3 points( 2 G, 1 A) with the team. But nothing is certain, and neither is his future in the Windy City.
But at this point, after an ACL injury and a slow start to the season, could he find himself in a new uniform in the next few months?
If so, why not Boston?
