Former Bruins forward signs with the Philadelphia Flyers
The Philadelphia Flyers have bolstered their lineup by signing former Bruins forward Garnet Hathaway to a two-year contract worth $4.75 million, as confirmed by General Manager Daniel Briere.
Hathaway, who spent the majority of the previous season with the Washington Capitals, brings his valuable experience to the Flyers' roster. The 31-year-old contributed 16 points and racked up 52 penalty minutes in 59 games.
Standing tall at 6-foot-3 and weighing 208 pounds, the Kennebunkport, Maine native has proven his worth over eight seasons in the NHL, accumulating 122 points and 490 penalty minutes with Calgary, Washington, and Boston.
Prior to his NHL career, Hathaway showcased his skills in the AHL, serving as an alternate captain for the Heat during his five-year stint.
