It has now been confirmed for this former Boston Bruins player and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
There were a lot of rumours that Marc Savard would join the Toronto Maple Leafs after parting ways with the Calgary Flames, but TSN's Darren Dreger has reported that, that may not be the case.
After the reports of the Calgary Flames and Mark Savard parting ways, there was a lot of speculation that surfaced regarding Savard joining the Toronto Maple Leafs coaching staff.
Mark Savard has coached with Berube, Toronto's new head coach before but recent reports from Dreger suggest that Savard may go back to coaching in the Juniors after leaving the Flames.
"There's a couple of places that maybe fit the bill there. I'm not saying that's what he's going to do. That was thrown out by somebody who might know as a possibility," Dreger said.
