Jack Edwards officially announces his retirement
After many years of bringing excitement to Bruins fans, Jack Edwards, the familiar voice of the Boston Bruins, has announced his retirement.
Known for his energetic and genuine commentary, Jack has been a beloved figure during NESN broadcasts, narrating countless thrilling moments for fans across Boston.
Jack Edwards, the longtime infamous #NHLBruins broadcaster, will be retiring at the conclusion of the season.
A statement from Jack Edwards:
W/ "gratefulness" & "a heavy heart" Jack Edwards announces his retirement from broadcasting at the end of this season: "I am no longer able to attain the standards I set for myself, to honor the fans, the players, the Bruins organization and NESN with the best they all deserve.»
In response to his retirement news, the Boston Bruins issued a heartfelt statement, expressing gratitude for Jack's remarkable contribution to the team's history. "Jack, you've been the voice of a special time in Bruins hockey," the statement reads.
The team thanked him for all the unforgettable memories he helped create and wished him and his family the best for the future.
