The Bruins battled hard trying to keep their season alive against the Florida Panthers, even forced a game 6 without Brad Marchand.

Ultimately the Bruins didn't have what it took to defeat the cup favourites in the Florida Panthers, but they gave it their all.

After being eliminated by the Florida Panthers, Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman issued a major message to Bruins fans.

#NHLBruins Swayman on the crowd chanting his name after the game:

"Tears. I couldn't be more grateful to have a city, have a homebase that's as supportive as BostonTo hear that was above and beyond." (1/2)

"I'm just so grateful for all the love and support. We wouldn't be here without them, so that was an incredible moment to be a part of." (2/2)

Jeremy Swayman stole the show for the Bruins in the playoffs, playing lights out and winning the starting role for the Bruins.

He played in 12 out of 13 games for the Bruins and always gave the team a solid chance to win. This off-season it will be interesting to see if they keep the duo of Ullmark and Swayman or decide to move on from Ullmark like rumours suggested at the trade deadline.
