Today was the first day of training camp for the Boston Bruins at Warrior Ice Arena. With a much different roster and young talent rising, the Bruins rolled out their forward line combinations. Obviously, things will change, especially with two groups, but there were some interesting lines put together on day one.

For group A, 2021 first-round pick Fabian Lysell was slotted in on the first-line right wing spot, which means the organization has high expectations for him going into this season. Lysell had Charlie Coyle as his center and Brad Marchand on the left wing. Another noted choice was that undrafted free agent Goergi Merkulov was put in the second-line center spot. The former Ohio State Buckeye has been one of the most productive players for AHL affiliate Providence for the last two seasons.
