Matthew Poitras Made History In Last Nights Game
Boston Bruins rookie Matthew Poitras achieved a historic milestone in last night's game.
At just 19 years and 226 days old, Poitras became one of only four Bruins players in the past 30 years to record their first multi-goal game at a younger age.
The impressive list of young Bruins includes:
David Pastrnak at 18 years and 230 days.
Phil Kessel at 19 years and 107 days.
Patrice Bergeron at 18 years and 172 days.
Sergei Samsonov at 19 years and 164 days.
Matthew Poitras' accomplishment is a testament to his talent and potential with the Boston Bruins. As the season progresses, all eyes will be on him to see how he continues to contribute to the team's success and potentially follow in the footsteps of these Bruins greats who made their mark at a young age.
