Matthew Poitras Makes A Statement Following Leaving The Team
Boston Bruins' top prospect, Matthew Poitras, recently made a statement as he embarked on a new chapter in his hockey journey, heading to the World Juniors.
Poitras expressed his enthusiasm, revealing that representing his country was a goal he had envisioned since the summer. Despite a different path than initially planned, with a start in Guelph and an unexpected turn, Poitras remains upbeat about the opportunity.
In his own words,
"This is what I had in the back of my mind all summer... go to Guelph, have a good start, and hopefully get the opportunity to play for my country. I'm excited."
