P.K. Subban Deliberately Takes A Shot At Brad Marchand
Former NHL defenseman P.K. Subban may not have been solicited for his opinion, but if you're curious about his take on Buffalo Sabres blue liner Rasmus Dahlin's hit on Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand, you need not search too far.
In the early stages of Tuesday evening's game, with the Sabres trailing 2-0, a visibly agitated Dahlin engaged in a board battle with Marchand.
The defenseman delivered a formidable hit to the captain, prompting players from both the Bruins and Sabres to rally in defense of their respective stars.
On Wednesday morning, Subban shared the play on X, formerly known as Twitter, and included the caption: "Love it!"
Immediately following the hit, a scrum erupted with all players on the ice getting involved. Dylan Cozens pulled players away from a helmetless Dahlin, displaying particular roughness with star forward David Pastrnak as Marchand sought retaliation.

Despite the intense exchange and fists flying, only two players received penalties. Cozens and Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy were both penalized with roughing penalties.
However, Subban refrained from commenting on the Bruins' 5-2 victory over the Sabres.
The former defenseman turned NHL analyst has a history of scuffles and altercations with Marchand throughout his career, including a memorable 2010 body check that sent Marchand back to the Bruins' bench to catch his breath.
Perhaps Subban's appreciation for Dahlin's hit on Marchand stems from the nostalgia of his own days delivering hard checks and inciting on-ice brawls.
Confession time: I'm on board with it too – I love it!
