The Boston Bruins have just announced that they have claimed a goaltender off of waivers.

Yesterday there were 29 players that were placed on waivers, and today the Boston Bruins decided to claim one of them.

It was just announced that the Boston Bruins have claimed Jiri Patera off of waivers from the Vancouver Canucks.

This might hint that the Boston Bruins, and Jeremy Swayman are still far apart, and the Bruins are bringing in some goaltending depth because of it.

Reportedly the Boston Bruins offered a $64 million to Jeremy Swayman, and his camp, but his agent took to social media to reveal that neither him nor Swayman were aware of this deal.
