The NHL gives Charlie McAvoy a surprising ranking in recently released top 20 defenseman
It is August 29th, and the lists during the off-season continues, as another Boston Bruin gains a reputation.
The reputation? He's considered one of the best defensemen in the NHL, and that is Charlie McAvoy who is ranked at #7.
He was ranked above Adam Fox on the list of Top 20 NHL defensemen by the NHL Network.
This is only a slight regression as he was ranked 6th after the end of the 2022-2023 NHL season.
McAvoy scored 47 points(12 G, 35 A) in 74 games with the Boston Bruins in 2023-2024.
He averaged 24:51 TOI and set a career-high for hits with 159 and blocked shots with 159 also.
