The NHL just made a surprise announcement involving 2 Boston Bruins defenseman
The NHL Network has been very generous with their lists this off-season, as we pass another day, anxiously awaiting the puck to drop in October.
This time, the NHL Network saw fit to rank current NHL defensemen in a Top 20 list. They released a list that featured not 1, but 2 Bruins defensemen this year.
On the list were Charlie McAvoy and Hampus Lindholm, McAvoy arguably the Bruin's top defenseman are projected to be on the 1st and 2nd pair according to DailyFaceoff.
McAvoy was ranked #6, while Lindholm was ranked #15 on the list.
Charlie McAvoy played 74 games for the Boston Bruins in 2023-2024, scoring 47 points( 12 G, 35 A) with a +4 rating.
While Hampus Lindholm played 73 games, scoring 26 points( 3 G, 23 A) with a +18 rating.
