Surprising Player Gets Claimed Off Waivers By The Blackhawks
Wednesday afternoon brought an unexpected twist in the National Hockey League, with the Chicago Blackhawks making a waiver claim.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman dropped the bombshell, revealing that the Blackhawks have snagged 31-year-old defenseman Jaycob Megna from the Seattle Kraken.
Friedman succinctly stated,
"Blackhawks claim Megna from Seattle."
Megna's 2023-24 season has seen limited action, featuring in just two games with Seattle's AHL affiliate, the Coachella Valley Firebirds. In this brief stint, he managed to net one goal and boasts a plus-three rating.
