The Vancouver Canucks have wrapped up a three-game road trip and are back on home turf.

General Manager Patrik Allvin is making waves by placing Jack Studnicka on waivers, intending to send him to the AHL's Abbotsford Canucks.

According to reports from TSN's Chris Johnston, Studnicka, a former second-round pick, is now on NHL waivers. Johnston broke the news on X, saying,

"Placed on NHL waivers today: Jack Studnicka (VAN)."

Since his move from the Boston Bruins to Vancouver in October 2022, the 24-year-old has participated in five games this season, showcasing his skills with one goal, maintaining a clean penalty record, and holding a commendable plus-two rating.

This strategic roster move suggests the Canucks are actively refining their player lineup and focusing on developmental aspects within the team.
