The worst is confirmed for Alex Ovechkin after suffering injury in Russia?
The worst may be confirmed for Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin after suffering an injury in Russia.
While playing in an All-Star game in Russia, the captain of the Washington Capitals Alex Ovechkin suffered a knee injury.
This All-Star game has the best Russian players from different leagues around the world but mainly filled with players from the NHL and KHL.
Alex Ovechkin would end up leaving the All-Star game after suffering a knee injury but it was revealed that the injury is not serious and it shouldn't effect the upcoming season.
"This injury is not too serious and did not prevent Ovechkin from playing in the Game of the Year a week ago," said a source from Match TV.
"But now Alexander has decided to take care of himself so that he can begin full training in 10 days."
With Gretzky's record in reach, it's hard to see this stopping Ovechkin from playing.
