In a video shared on YouTube by Darren Fishman, the tensions between two teams in the beer league reach a breaking point. The on-ice altercation follows the familiar script of harsh words and exchanged punches, but it takes an unexpected turn when a player in an orange jersey crosses a line.
The yet-to-be-identified player is captured on video standing on the ice, executing an overhand, two-handed swing of his hockey stick aimed at the back of an unsuspecting opponent on the bench.
