10 FUN FACTS about Zdeno Chara
In honor of Zdeno Chara's retirement and as a Boston Bruin, just like it should be, one Boston area writer shared some amazing facts about the big man!

''FUN Z FACT: When Chara first arrived in Boston for his introductory press conference with the Bruins in 2006, one of the first things he did was hand the team a cab receipt for reimbursement from his trip to the Garden from Logan.''
''FUN Z FACT No. 2: Chara once scared the living hell outta @MikeGiardi during Media Day. Too bad it wasn't recorded.''
''FUN Z FACT No. 3: Before his legendary introduction prior to Game 5 against the Blues in the 2019 Final at TD Garden, NBC told then-Bruins PA guy Jim Martin not to pause before announcing Chara. Martin disagreed and paused, setting up a perfectly-timed ovation.''
