10 key games to watch for during the 2022-23 regular-season

October 12th @ the Washington Capitals
Regular-season opener

October 15th vs. the Arizona Coyotes
Regular-season home opener

November 21st @ the Tampa Bay Lightning
An Atlantic Division matchup against the defending Eastern Conference champions (three times).

November 25th vs. the Carolina Hurricanes
First matchup since their seven-game series in the first round of the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

December 3rd vs. the Colorado Avalanche
The one and only game that the Bruins host the defending Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche (the clubs meet again four days later in Denver).

December 5th vs. the Vegas Golden Knights
This one doesn't need much explaining. It will be former Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy's return to Boston with the Golden Knights.

January 2nd vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins
The 2022 Winter Classic at Fenway Park as they host Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins. It will be the fifth outdoor game in Bruins history.

February 11th vs. the Washington Capitals
Boston returns from ten days off because of the All-Star Break and bye week.

March 9th vs. the Edmonton Oilers
Everyone loves to watch the best player in the world live, right? It will be Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers' only trip to TD Garden.

April 13th at the Montreal Canadiens
Last game of the 2022-23 regular-season in enemy territory of Montreal.

Some important notes for the upcoming season as per the Bruins:

-Longest road trip - 5 games (January 24-Feb. 1: Montreal, Tampa Bay, Florida, Carolina, Toronto; and March 12-19: Detroit, Chicago, Winnipeg, Minnesota, and Buffalo).
-Longest homestand - 5 games (December 13-22: New York Islanders, Los Angeles, Columbus, Florida, and Winnipeg).
-The Bruins will have a 10-day layoff from Feb. 2-11 for the club's bye week and the 2023 NHL All-Star Weekend.
-The 2023 NHL All-Star Weekend is set for Feb. 3-4 in Sunrise, Florida.
-The B's schedule includes 15 sets of back-to-backs, with the first Oct. 17-18 (vs. Florida, at Ottawa) and last April 8-9 (vs. New Jersey, at Philadelphia)
