Brad Marchand hasn't skipped a beat since returning from double hip surgery this offseason, as he has 6 goals and 11 assists in 13 games played.
At the same time, however, the well-known ''pest'' has just two minor penalties and four penalty minutes this season. Subsequently, the rumours flew that Marchand was turning over a new leaf, and he's going for the Lady Byng Award this season.
In a recently released video, a mic'd up Marchand all but confirmed his recent change of heart. In a preseason game against the Philadelphia Flyers, the veteran is caught talking with an official, saying:
''We're good. I changed! I'm going for the Lady Byng.''
