Somewhat of a crazy story from the AHL recently, as a club was forced to fire its head coach after he allegedly leaked some classified information.

The Ottawa Senators announced on Thursday head coach Troy Mann of the Belleville Senators was relieved of his duties.

According to TSN's Claire Hanna, the reason behind the coaching change has less to do with hockey and more to do with trust.

'Sources saying there were trust issues emerging between the #Sens and Belleville HC Troy Mann. I'm told the straw that broke the camels back was when Mann gave some of the Ottawa Senators pre-scouting material to another NHL team.''

And as Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff reported, it gets a little awkward, as his younger brother also works for the Senators:

''#Sens have fired coach Troy Mann in AHL Belleville. His younger brother, Trent Mann, is the #Sens assistant GM.''

If true, this would hurt Mann's chances of getting another coaching job, especially when your own brother probably had a hand in the firing.

Expect further details on this story to arise in the coming weeks.
