A.J. Greer praises the Boston Bruins culture
Prior to this season, A.J. Greer had just 16 points in 179 career games spanned over eight years.
He's having a career year in Boston with 5 goals and 6 assists through 48 games. When he signed a two-year, $1.5 million contract with the Bruins this summer, it's safe to say that Greer wasn't expected to be much more than an AHL regular.
However, the 26-year-old has stolen the hearts of the Boston faithful as he's quickly become a fan favourite with his hard nosed style of play.
He discussed the culture of the Bruins team and how much it impacts everybody, especially seeing it first hand as a new player to Boston.
''As soon as you step in that locker room there's a set of values and respect for the guys around you but also for the logo, the city, and the hard working people who contribute to our success.''
Greer also touched on the importance of the fourth line of him, Tomas Nosek and Garnet Hathaway helping out offensively more often than not.
