The Arizona Coyotes finally played their first home game at Mullet Arena tonight, and let's say it's off to a not-so-good start.
Even though the arena (that they share with Arizona State University) only has a capacity of around 5000 people, the Coyotes reportedly weren't even able to sell out their home opener.
The Winnipeg Jets are the first visitors for the Coyotes at Mullet Arena, and there are apparently still ''hundreds of tickets still available.''
A video was shared by Ted Wyman of ''The Winnipeg Sun'' of the pregame warmups at Mullet Arena, and it's definitely a lot different than most NHL games.
As per Wyman:
''Here's a look at Mullett Arena during the pre-game warm-ups. Not at all conventional for an #NHL game but the place seems to have atmosphere so far. #NHLJets and Coyotes coming up soon. Arizona's home opener.''
