Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron sat down for an exclusive interview with NHL insider Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
During his time with Friedman, Bergeron discussed several things, such as his career, possible retirement and, most notably, his friendship with long-time teammate Brad Marchand.
The two veterans have played a total of 816 games together with the Bruins. In that span, Bergeron has recorded 294 goals and 395 assists, while Marchand has collected 325 goals and 406 assists. They've also been through a lot of ups and downs together, from winning the 2011 Stanley Cup to losing in the finals twice as well.
However, as Bergeron mentions in the video below, the two have something almost more special than all of that:
''You know you play with someone for so long ... You go through ups and downs, and you create connections beyond just being friends. You're obviously best friends.''
