The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney seem to be headed towards the start of the 2020-21 season.
No big splashes are really left to be made as Mike Hoffman signed a PTO with the St. Louis Blues.
However one decision is still left to be made, whether or not the Bruins will move on from captain Zdeno Chara.
Recent rumblings have the Bruins moving on from Chara and looking to give Jeremy Lauzon some bigger minutes.
With that in mind, NHL insider Dave Pagnotta of The FourthPeriod reports the Bruins are looking at signing one free agent defenseman.
Pagnotta reports the Bruins are showing strong interest in UFA BenHutton.
The 27 year old played for the Los Angeles Kings last season and registered 16 points in 65 games.
