The Boston Bruins have lost three of their last five games, with every game ending within at least two goals apart.

The common denominator in the losses has been the Bruins struggling power play without the injured David Pastrnak. He has missed the last four games due to an undisclosed injury.

The power play is in the midst of an 0 for 18 streak. Fortunately, the penalty kill is still strong, going 19 for 21 in those same games. On the season, the Bruins' power play still sits at 11th in the NHL with a 22.3% success rate, while the penalty kill is in 8th at 82.5%.

Pastrnak leads the team and is 8th in the NHL with 14 power-play goals, so it's obvious why the Bruins have been struggling to produce with the man advantage.

An encouraging sign is that Pastrnak skated Tuesday morning before the game against the St. Louis Blues, but his timetable to return is still unclear.
