With the Boston Bruins dealing with a bunch of injury problems on the blue, the team and general manager Don Sweeney decided to make an emergency call up on Thursday.
The team and Sweeney announced that they've called up defenseman Jeremy Lauzon from the Providence Bruins on an emergency basis.
This is the first time the 21 year old and 2015 second round draft pick will have the chance to wear a Bruins jersey.
He's played in six games in the AHL this year with one goal and three assists after putting up seven points in 52 games last season.
